Strawberry Sheet Cake
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. strawberries, washed and tops cut off (you will divide this)
- 1 box white cake mix
- 3 eggs
- ¾ cup vegetable oil
- 3 oz strawberry jello
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Blend your prepared strawberries in a food processor or a blender until well pureed.
Mix the box of cake mix, eggs, and oil in a large bowl until well combined. Add the Jell-O and 1 cup of strawberry puree. Mix well.
Pour into a greased 9×13 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Let cake cool completely and then frost.
While cake is cooling, make the frosting.
Strawberry Frosting
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 3 cups of powdered sugar
- ¼ cup strawberry puree
Instructions:
Cream together the butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, and strawberry puree. Once the cake is fully cooled, spread on the frosting.
