Steak Tortelini
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
⅓ cup cream cheese
2 Tbs flour
1 tsp salt
1 Tbs butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 ½ cups fresh parmesan cheese
1 (20 oz) pkg frozen tortellini
2 cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped
2 sirloin steaks sliced thin
Instructions:
- Place milk, cream cheese, flour, and salt in a blender and blend until smooth.
- In a saucepan, melt butter on medium-high heat and cook garlic for about 30 seconds.
- Reduce heat. Add milk mixture to pan. Stir constantly for 3 or 4 minutes until it comes to a simmer. Keep stirring until it thickens.
- Once thickened, add 1 cup of the cheese. Stir and cover. Let stand for 10 minutes.
- While the sauce is setting up, wash and chop spinach.
- Layer ingredients in a greased casserole dish: ½ cup alfredo spread on bottom, ½ of frozen tortellini, ¾ cup spinach, and the reast of the alfredo sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until tortellini is tender.
