Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter

3 cups diced celery

2 diced sweet onions

Cornbread crumbles from 1 – 2 day old cornbreads (Usually, about 1 – 2 pans cornbread)

3 cups crumbled day old biscuits

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

7 – 8 cups chicken broth

1 tsp poultry seasoning or sage

1 Tbs ground pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.  Melt butter in skillet and saute celery and onions 5-6 minutes or until onions are tender. Mix cornbread and biscuit crumbs together.  Stir in eggs, chicken broth, pepper, poultry seasoning, and vegetable mixture. Pour into pan.  If you have too much, grease an 8 inch pan for the overflow.  Bake for 45 – 55 minutes.

**Honetly, I eyeball this. Add as you need.
