4 cans green beans, drained
1 onion
1 package sliced almonds
½ cup vinegar
½ cup sugar
8 slices bacon
Drain and spread 2 cans of green beans in a 2 quart casserole dish. Slice onion and place in rings over beans. Drain and layer the other 2 cans of beans over onion slices. Sprinkle almonds over green beans. Mix vinegar and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Pour over green beans. Refrigerate for several hours before cooking. Fry the bacon. Pour the fat over beans and crumble bacon on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
