Beer Bread
Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
¼ cup brown sugar
1 (12 oz) warm beer (I prefer a darker beer for this)
½ cup butter, melted
Optional: salt and italian seasonings
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a loaf pan. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in brown sugar. Pour beer over flour mixture and stir to combine. Pour into loaf pan. (This will be thick- not a liquid batter). Pour butter over bread mixture. I usually sprinkle top with sea salt and Italian seasonings. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
