Maple Chicken
Ingredients:
6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
½ cup butter, melted
1 cup Pure Maple Syrup
Salt
Pepper
Fresh Rosemary sprigs
Root Vegetables of your choice…a variety
Preheat oven to 425. Slice all root vegetables and place in bottom of the roaster pan. Lay chicken breasts on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix melted butter and maple syrup together. Using a pastry brush, coat chicken with butter/syrup mix. Pour some over the vegetables, but reserve a third for basting purposes. Bake at 425 for 20 – 30 minutes until the thermometer reads 165. Baste with butter mixture every 10 minutes.
