Sausage Gravy
Ingredients:
1 lb sausage
⅓ cup flour
3 ½ cups whole milk
Salt and pepper to taste ( I like mine very peppery)
Directions:
Brown sausage in large skillet until no longer pink. Do not drain. Add flour and stir until mixed in with the sausage. Cook over medium heat until flour is slightly brown. While stirring, pour in milk. Increase heat to medium high until gravy starts to thicken. Reduce heat to low and stir in salt and pepper.
As this sits, it may get too thick. You can always add in milk to thin it.
