Ingredients:
24 Krispy Kreme Glazed Doughnuts
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (14 oz.) can fruit cocktail, with juice
2 eggs, beaten
1 (9 oz) or 1 1/2 cups raisins
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 stick butter
3 cups sifted powdered sugar
3 Tablespoons white rum
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9×13 glass dish with butter.
In a large bowl, tear the doughnuts into 1 inch cubes. In a medium bowl, combine the condensed milk, fruit cocktail, eggs, raisins, salt, and cinnamon. Pour the mixture over the doughnuts and stir to combine. Let the doughnuts soak for at least 15 minutes. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Press down with back of spoon to remove any air pockets.
Bake the pudding for 1 hour until the center is firm.
While bread pudding is baking, make the butter-rum sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Slowly whisk in the powdered sugar. Add the rum. Remove from heat and stir well. Serve the sauce over the warm pudding.
