Meat and Cheese Grilled Pizza Roll
Ingredients:
1 (13.8 ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
½ cup pizza sauce
1 tsp. Basil
4 oz. shredded extra sharp cheddar
4 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
4-6 oz pepperoni, chopped
8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
2 Tbs butter, melted
½ tsp. Garlic powder
½ tsp italian seasoning
2 oz. shredded Parmesan
*Note: You can use and meat/vegetable you want as you build this.
Directions:
On a flour dusted surface, pat dough into a 12×10 inch rectangle. Spread pizza sauce over dough and sprinkle with basil. Top with the cheeses and then the meats and vegetables if using. Starting at the long side, roll up dough into a log. Pinch seams to seal. Cut 4 diagonal slits in top of the dough.
Place log on a large sheet of heavy duty foil. Brush dough with butter and sprinkle on seasonings and Parmesan. Wrap foil around pizza log to completely enclose, and seal tight.
Grill for 25 minutes, turning every 5 minutes to prevent burning. Let stand for 10 -15 minutes before slicing.
